I know this section is supposed to be a weekly mixtape “spotlight” but since last week was a bit lackluster, I thought I give some shine to some tracks that got heavy rotation instead…
Titty Boi is a better name than 2 Chainz. This record is dope but it had me downloading this classic mixtape joint.
02. Schoolboy Q – “There He Go”
Schoolboy Q is quickly becoming one of my favorite rappers. “Setbacks” is one the most slept on albums of the year and judging from the cuts that have been leaked for HABITS & Contradictions there shouldn’t be any sleeping this go around.
03. Gangsta Boo- “Kill, Kill, Kill” [view here]
Every year there is always that out of nowhere comeback and with a feature on Yelawolf’s upcoming album and her own mixtape on the way, Gangsta Boo may be that artist this year. I’ve watched this video probably a hundred times now and it’s in HD…
04. Quelle Chris ft. Danny Brown & Roc Marciano – “Shotgun”
Quelle about to be that dude. This right here is ridiculous.
Let’s go to the video tape…
I was 3-1 last week, so if you got bills due I provide sound gambling advice. With that being said there was 6 double digit spreads this week which means no stats or trends matter, just whether or not how serious the favored team takes the game (a gambling nightmare).
San Diego Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs (+3.5)
Chargers went out like some punks against the Jets last week. They also lost to the Chiefs last year on like 4 punt returns for touchdowns. Even though there is a hoe-ish aura that surrounds this team I have to believe redemption and revenge in on the Chargers mind. Plus the Chiefs suck.
Pick: San Diego
Miami Dolphins at New York Giants (-10)
The Giants last hurrah (huzzah!) before the start of their 5 game losing streak. Sorry Pharaohe Monch and Pete Rock.
Pick: New York
Detroit Lions at Denver Broncos (+3)
I think Vegas is suffering from Tebowmania. Denver is terrible, only Skip Bayless in some act of sports journalism hipster irony thinks anything of this team. If Denver was my team I would of spent my money on a billboard that read “Sign Jeff George”.
Cleveland Browns at San Francisco 49ers (-10)
Yeah the 49ers are much improved and Jim Harbaugh is a G but it’s still too early to be making them double digit favorites. Mike Holgrem team’s always get up to play San Francisco and Cleveland’s defense good enough to keep it close.
